Last Days at the Gambier Road Market Pt. 6

Passersby watch fishing boats unload their catch on the Fish Market wharf. Fishing boats navigate up the Sarawak River to reach this wharf to unload their catch at the Fish Market. Some fish find their way to fishmonger stalls within the market itself, while others are sold wholesale to factories. The often daily flurry of activity usually attracts a small crowd of spectators, as well as shoppers looking for fresh fish.
